Quotes
NDP Leader Andrea Horwath:
“Bhutila has worked incredibly hard to deliver results for her community, including her fierce, leading advocacy for mental health and addiction supports, and her tireless fight to protect tenants from evictions and unfair rent hikes. I’m so proud to have her on our team.
With Bhutila as part of an NDP government in 2022, I know we’re going to form a government that puts people at the heart – ending hallway medicine, taking profits out of long-term care, and making sure everyone can find a home they can afford.”
Bhutila Karpoche, NDP candidate for Parkdale-High Park:
“I love Parkdale-High Park, and I’m delighted to have local New Democrats in my corner as I run to represent our incredible community for another four years.
Under Andrea Horwath’s leadership, the NDP has not only been opposing Doug Ford’s harmful cuts, we’ve been proposing a positive vision for 2022. I can’t wait to play a part in delivering on the commitments I know will make a difference for my community of Parkdale-High Park — like making housing affordable, funding our schools, making mental health care and addiction services a priority, protecting seniors, and supporting small businesses.”
